1. Aromatherapy

 Aromatherapy uses essential oils extracted from flowers, herbs, woods, or spices to treat physical disorders. It enhances our mental clarity, reduces pain and depression, relaxes us, and even helps us sleep. Essential oils have numerous therapeutic effects, including antioxidant, antibacterial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, and antidepressant properties.

 2. CBD

 Cannabidiol (or CBD) is one of over 50 cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant. Cannabinoids are compounds that interact with the endocannabinoid system, a regulatory network of molecules involved in maintaining homeostasis. CBD is nonpsychoactive; therefore, it won’t get you high. However, it does offer many therapeutic effects. Research shows that CBD may help reduce anxiety, chronic pain, seizures, migraines, autism, Alzheimer’s disease, inflammatory bowel disease, cancer, and cardiovascular disease.

 3. Cannabis

 Cannabis contains over 60 active ingredients that provide medicinal and recreational benefits. Its active components include tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), cannabidiol (CBD), cannabinols (CBN), terpenes, flavonoids, and phenolics. THC is responsible for the psychoactivity of marijuana and CBD offers medical relief without getting people “high.” Both CBD and THC are present in varying concentrations throughout different parts of the plant. For example, hemp seeds contain less than 0.3 percent THC, while whole flower buds contain between 10 to 20 percent.  Propagation involves replanting or reusing mature cannabis plants or cuttings to create new plants. Propagating cannabis requires skillful use of tools and knowledge about gardening practices.

 6. Seed

 Seeds are the first stage of propagation. Seeds can be planted directly into the ground, started indoors in peat pots or trays, or germinated inside paper envelopes.
