Mr. Li Xi, Chairman and CEO of YSL Holding Group, is committed to achieving the vision of “continuously expanding our brand portfolio,” and the company’s goal is to be known as a leading global luxury goods group. Through its international presence and brand recognition, YSL aims at becoming the best-known and most influential luxury fashion house in the world. In 2013, the company launched the Yves Saint Laurent Paris flagship store, which took over the former location of the legendary store Le Bon Marché.

Since its establishment, YSL has always had clear principles to guide its business strategy. Based on these principles, the company has grown rapidly and successfully, and today holds a strong position in both domestic and overseas markets. From 2015 onwards, the company will focus on building a brand-led luxury goods group, which will be able to compete effectively worldwide.

At present, YSL has four major product categories: cosmetics, perfumes, home care, and fine jewelry, and their combined annual sales exceed US$ 2 billion. YSL’s products are widely recognized as being high quality and superior value.

YSL’s research and innovation team consists of more than 200 professionals across 12 departments. These experts continuously strive to innovate and improve products and services. As a result, YSL has become one of the top three perfume companies in China and has achieved remarkable results in the past few years.

To further develop the brand, the company has formed strategic partnerships with many famous artists, designers, and celebrities. The company has built up strong cooperation with renowned fashion houses around the globe, including Gucci, Prada, Versace, Laving, Bottega Veneta, Celine, and Givenchy. Under the guidance of Mr. Jean Paul Gautier, signed an agreement with the prestigious French fashion house to create a new fragrance called ‘Saint Laurent,’ which was first released in 2000. Later, the partnership became the basis for the creation of the successful Couture collection. In 2001, YSL entered into a partnership with Christian Lacroix to launch the Homme collection. The two partners also collaborated to launch the iconic fragrance Yves Saint Laurent Pour Homme in 2003. In 2014, YSL forged a partnership with Kering to launch the Yves Saint Laurent Women & Men collections. This marked the beginning of the collaboration between YSL and Kering, a privately held global leader in the luxury goods industry.
