A quardle is a device that was first created in 16th century England. A quardle was a machine for grinding grain, and its name comes from old English words for “churn”. Quardles were popular until 1750 when they were replaced by steam-powered mills. Quardles were used for grinding flour, corn meal, barley malt, and oatmeal. They would have been similar in appearance to a modern day coffee grinder except much larger. The smaller version of this device is still useful today.

Description: One of the newest products is the “Quardle Grinder.” These grinders are portable, lightweight, and easy to use. They offer a fast, effective way to make sure no unwanted particles remain in the finished product. When using these grinders, a small amount of water should be added to the dry ingredients. Once everything is mixed well together, add just enough water to create loose dough. Then place the dough between two pieces of plastic wrap. Place the wrapped dough on top of the quardle, then turn the quardle over a few times to evenly distribute the moisture throughout the dough. Start turning the quardle back and forth slowly to mix properly. After 5 minutes, remove the plastic and pat down the dough to flatten it out. Now you can start cutting the dough into 2 inch squares, triangles, etc… You may want to lightly grease the quardle and cover it while you are making your cuts. As soon as you have cut all of your desired shapes, place them onto baking sheets lined with parchment paper. Use a spatula to spread each shape out even. Then sprinkle some flour over the tops of each piece. Bake at 350 degrees F for 10-15 minutes depending on size. If you do not need all of the cookies immediately, store them in airtight containers where they will keep fresh for 1 week.

A few years ago, I wrote a post about the basics of growing weed. While it doesn’t get nearly as big (or legal) attention as, say, tomatoes and peppers, Cannabis sativa is certainly worthy of your time – especially if youre looking for a challenge and arent easily discouraged — and maybe, just maybe, youll end up with a little treat for yourself. Read this article to learn about how to grow marijuana, including cultivation techniques, favorite varieties, and more.
