United sign £90 million striker Borussia Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

On Monday, United announced the signing of Borussia Dortmund’s Pierre Emerick Aubameyang for an undisclosed fee believed to be in excess of £90m.

The 28-year-old will become the club’s record signing after joining the Red Devils following his release by Dortmund in May.

Aubameyang’s arrival means that Romelu Lukaku has left the club, having joined Inter Milan over the weekend.

He will compete for a place in Jose Mourinho’s starting line-up with Marcus Rashford.

Jadon Sancho completes move from Borussia Dortmund to Man Utd

England international Jadon Sancho completed his move to Manchester United from Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund earlier on Monday.

Sancho signed a five-and-a-half year contract with the Premier League giants worth around £180,000 per week.

The 19-year-old winger was born in New York to Sierra Leonean parents before being raised in England.

Sancho moved to Germany when he was 12 and has represented both England and the USA at youth level. He scored 16 goals in 40 appearances for Dortmund last term, helping them qualify for the Champions League.

Sancho had previously been linked with Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain and now joins fellow youngsters Reece Oxford and Tahith Chong at Old Trafford.
