Dark Widow is a 2021 American superhuman film in light of Wonder Comics highlighting the personality of a similar name. Delivered by Wonder Studios and circulated by Walt Disney Studios Movies, it is the 24th film in the Wonder Artistic Universe (MCU). The movie was coordinated by Cate Shortland from a screenplay by Eric Pearson and stars Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff/Dark Widow close by Florence Pugh, David Harbor, O-T Fagbenle, Olga Kurylenko, William Hurt, Beam Winstone, and Rachel Weisz. Set after the occasions of Chief America: Nationwide conflict (2016), the film sees Romanoff on the run and compelled to defy her past as a Russian government operative before she turned into a Vindicator.
Lionsgate Movies started fostering a Dark Widow movie in April 2004, with David Hayter connected to compose and coordinate. In July 2021, Johansson recorded a claim against Disney over the concurrent delivery, which was settled two months after the fact.
