Babybus Monster Police Car
When I was just starting out, I had no idea that my first ever project would turn into something that has become quite popular! What started off as a simple toy vehicle has turned into this thing.
I am extremely proud of how well it’s been received by everyone who has seen it. This little vehicle has sparked a lot of interest and I have gotten many questions about it. So today I thought I’d make a video talking about what went into its design and some of the things people are interested in knowing about it.
In terms of scale, it stands at approximately 12 inches (30 cm) long and 8 inches (20 cm) tall – although only half of those parts are represented in the model. It weighs around 2 lbs (0.91 kg) and can carry around 7-10 oz (200-300g).
The wheels were inspired by a real-life motorcycle that was stolen from our house back in 2011. I bought these wheels at a local scrap yard but they were too expensive, so I purchased used ones online.
This particular version of the vehicle is made entirely from 1/12th scale resin and comes pre-painted. I have not yet decided if I want to offer variations of this vehicle with varying color schemes and/or extra details.
A baby bus was parked by the side of the road. When we got out of our car we saw that the driver had been kidnapped. We looked at each other and said “Let’s go save him!” So we grabbed hold of some rope tied around his neck and started pulling. But he was very strong and wouldn’t let go. He seemed happy though, so we thought we might have a bit of fun. After about ten minutes, we realized that we were getting nowhere. Our ropes were no match for his strength. I mean, how could they be?
So I suggested we try something else. I put my foot against his chest and pushed really hard. His body gave way and he dropped to the ground like a ton of bricks. Then we just went back home and laughed our asses off.
Baby buses are used worldwide to transport children from home to school. These kids have a lot of fun traveling through their neighborhood in these little cars. They often pass places where they can do arts and crafts, play, or enjoy snacks together. These vehicles also go near parks where children can run around, catch some air, and burn off energy.
As we know, many parents would love to drive them themselves but baby buses are too small for adults to enter. Also, most parent don’t want their child to ride alone in a vehicle. Thus, the idea behind this video was born – what if I could combine both worlds? What if I could make a bus that is big enough to fit me inside? Of course, the idea needs a few tweaks to turn into reality – but that’s okay! The result of my work is “the Babybus Monster”. A huge version of a regular baby bus. In theory, this vehicle can carry up to 5 people at the same time. But this isn�t just any normal bus; it has its own special features. Let�s find out more about this amazing creation.
